My students learn more effectively when they are engaged in the learning process and not just hearing about it or watching a video about it. The resources that I am requesting will help my students to develop higher-level thinking skills in math and science. They will use the materials to test their current thinking about various topics in math and science.
The materials will also help my students with their social-emotional growth by increasing their confidence in school. As they work out problems with others in the class, they will form friendships and feel a sense of accomplishment when they reach their goal. They will learn team-building skills that will be critical to their future learning as they move on to junior high school.
About my class
