The iPad and Apple Pencil will be used to make more effective lesson videos for my students to learn from if they are learning from home due to illness, quarantine, or online learning day (snow day, etc.). I can also create other resources for my student to use during regular, in person learning days. In addition, the iPad will also allow me to interact with students on Canvas by giving them feedback on their assignments by marking up their assignments or giving them written feedback.
The iPad and Apple Pencil will help enhance the instruction that I can give to my students. I plan to use several apps on this iPad to help assist my students in their learning. Here are a few that immediately come to mind: apps in the Google Suite (drive, docs, slides, sheets, jamboard), Canvas Teacher App, Skyward Mobile App, Notability, Loom, Desmos Calculator, Geogebra, Quizizz, Kahoot, and the built-in apps by Apple (Files, Notes, etc.). These apps will help me provide a variety of representations for my students to use as they learn various mathematical topics. This will help me to differentiate instruction, which will in turn will help all students learn more effectively.
