The pandemic has created the need for us to use more digital resources in our teaching. In order to use these more effectively now, we need a better classroom projector. I regularly use the one we have, but it is old and dim, so students have to strain their eyes to see what is on the screen. This is frustrating for them. A classroom projector with higher lumens will greatly improve the learning experience for my students! We use our classroom projector to view video tutorials (Sewing classes), examine and discuss pictures and videos (Interior Design classes), and we participate in group activities such as Nearpod lessons and VR tours (College & Career Awareness classes).
