Knives and cutting boards are essential to any good cook. These students will learn how to hold a knife properly and then also some basic knife cuts. Once they have learned some of these techniques the students will then learn how to saute, brown and cook the vegetables they cut. These cutting and cooking skills can be used at home and at work.
Diced onions, minced garlic, and julienned potatoes all are basic to any savory meal. With these new tools, students will be able to practice and become more proficient.
