While my students are working hard to fill in the gaps in their learning that the Covid 19 pandemic has caused, I have noticed that their fluent reading is not where it needs to be. Due to shutdowns, quarantines, and lockdowns, many do not have access to strong, grade level material that would help them practice their reading. Increasing student access to strong, grade level reading material, for use both in the classroom and at home, will help my students practice their fluent reading and keep them engaged as they do so.

About my class
