COVID-19 greatly reduced children's opportunity to interact with one another, build cooperative skills, and persevere in age-appropriate objectives. Because of this, many students are struggling to manage conflict, participate in friendly competition, persist in problem solving, and remain attentive in interactions and instruction. Students would greatly benefit if they could learn and practice these skills in a structured, guided environment. This project will give my students opportunities to participate in highly engaging learning activities, both individually and collectively. They will increase their skills in teamwork, concentration, mental stamina, and goal-setting. These skills can and should be practiced in a variety of environments, from the classroom to the gym to the playground. A desk that can readily change locations and positions will provide flexibility to adapt to numerous learning situations. And a projector screen with a working mechanism will allow us access to the entirety of our whiteboard, which is now halfway covered by our current malfunctioning screen.
