The materials in this project are going to help my students in so many ways. We always thrive to create a learning environment where students can engage and build and grow on their own. After direct instruction, we want students to be able to show us what they know in ways of their choice!
The materials will help students become builders and engagers of their own learning. With the math manipulatives, students can use tactile learning to better understand difficult concepts. With the markers, posters, bright paper, and laminating sheets, we can create lasting projects that help students remember and grow. They can also show their learning in so many ways. The headphones will help students practice their listening and communication skills. The timers will help my students improve their reading skills. New whiteboards will also help them with their writing and grammar applications. They can apply what they learn in the books in so many ways with the other materials requested.
Students will really be able to just focus on the learning. When the materials are available to them and they know what is available to them, their creativity is limitless!
