My goal for this project is to teach students to love to read by using a variety of novels in class! These materials will allow students the chance to read texts that look and sound like they do. I hope to teach students that literacy can look and sound just like them. This novel will be relatable to many students throughout the school year. As an ELA team, we are going to do a book study and share these novels so we are able to read more than one novel a year. My goal for this project is to teach students to love to read by using a variety of novels in class!
