My students need specific instruction to learn social skills and then need structured activities to practice and internalize what they have learned. Having programs available will help ensure their specific needs are being met. Recognizing and managing emotions appropriately help to contribute to a healthy personal sense of well-being. My students need to learn proper conversational skills and how to relate to both adults and peers in their school environment as well as outside of school. Learning real-life skills by practicing with money and purchasing products is a fundamental skill my students need to learn.
Help me maximize my students' potential to positively interact with others!
