First, the flexible seating will benefit my students by giving them an option to work in a chair that allows them to have more movement than a regular chair. This allows my friends to move freely while learning (the chairs move side to side and rock front to back). I have two of these chairs already and whenever my students are picked to use them, they are so excited. I have discovered students who are using these chairs for the day stay actively engaged more, work really hard, and overall stay focused more than they would in a regular classroom chair. They really are amazing!
Second, I have asked for the touch and read phonics set. I found this resource and immediately thought it would be a great tool to use during small groups for my struggling readers. It would be a GAME CHANGER if I was able to use it with my students. Any donation would be greatly appreciated. I know my students would be over the moon to know others have supported their classroom!
