Many of my students cannot afford school supplies and come to school without. The pencils, paper, erasers, and folders will be available for students to take and use freely.
We will be using the whiteboard supplies to create scientific models in class. Drawing out the concepts on their own is fun for the students, engages them in the content, and allows them to draw out misconceptions in the ideas that they already had on the concept. The students typically do the models on paper, but the white board is much more engaging and allows them to edit their ideas easily.
