With our class being online, my students need tangible resources for them to fully grasp the concepts I teach in class. I will use the erase boards for their math work in class and give the counters and other math manipulatives to them so they can practice the skills with me as I teach them.
In regards to language arts, I want to use the leveled readers for my small group instruction. This will allow students to read books that align with their reading level. Also, I want to use magnetic wands for blending sounds in words. I already have magnetic chips that students will use to tap out sounds in words, and then blend them with their magnetic wands. All of these resources will improve their proficiency in math and reading skills.
I will also use the arts and craft materials (scissors and crayons), so my students can learn the necessary motor skills to complete art projects.
