I teach a large group of 8th graders( 156) at a Title I school. My students are predominantly from minority backgrounds and live in low-income housing projects. As a result of their challenging circumstances, they are considered an underserved and underprivileged population. My role is to provide them with the best possible education and support to help them overcome the systemic barriers they face.
