The students will not only enjoy a beautiful garden, they will learn the gardening process. Students can learn about plant cycles and harvest. The students will also learn the responsibility of keeping a garden alive and work together to achieve this goal. The will be ample opportunities in and out of the classroom to learn photosynthesis and cells, pollination, and make a real world connection to science standards. Students will be able to make connections from what they are learning in the classroom to what they are doing in the garden.
