Our school as very few resources and teachers often do not have the basic materials to assist the students to their full capacity. In my school, I have teachers who are creating much needed individualized learning materials for students but are unable to complete the job because of not having basic needs like a laminator. The students often have to share dry erase boards causing the lessons to take longer. Sensory objects like play dough and chewing objects could assist in helping the students stem out in an appropriate way. Our teachers are truly hard working and our students deserve to have access to basic materials to get the most from their learning.
