I will design centers and intervention rotations for students who need additional instruction and support at their needed level. Students will set goals so they can achieve the skill needed and those at the higher level will still be challenged with higher-level activities. Many of the items will be used for learning from home, especially if we have to go to remote learning.
My project will provide my students with hands-on activities giving them tangible opportunities to learn. I want to engage my students from the introduction to the ending of a lesson leaving them wanting more.
Each manipulative will be used to be hands-on and presented in a way that students can discuss and discover the why's and how's of math. I want to provide a way to teach concepts in an engaging way, giving students a strong understanding of how each concept works and to become problem-solvers.
