I am requesting chemistry experiment kits, a black light, and microscope slides for my fifth-grade classes. Along with our curriculum, I want to introduce them to elements of chemistry that are safe and fun. The average fifth-grader is easily influenced by things that excite them; this is the perfect time to get them excited about earth science, chemistry and physics. I believe that the chemistry experiment kits will provide a hands-on approach to science that is beneficial to each learning style kinesthetic, visual, reader/writers and auditory learner. I further believe that the MEL kits will help to unlock the potential of students that may not know that they love science.

About my class
