I am a first year teacher and the materials I have selected will give my students a selection of books in which they can learn inclusion, history, and the magic of a good book and their imagination. The books will help my students who struggle with reading, engage and get lost in a book. I included games to encourage my students to take turns, problem solve, and work as teams. This will build social skills as they cooperate and collaborate with each other. A variety of math manipulative and games will boost my students' confidence in math.
