An iPad Pro will give my students access to the latest technology to enhance their learning and creativity. The iPad Pro will be used daily by students for many reasons. First, students will be able to practice speaking and writing the Cherokee syllabary. Students will be able to use applications like "YouTube" and "Mango Languages" to help with syllabary recognition, pronunciation, and short mini lessons over the language. Students will have access to drawing applications like "Notability" to practice writing the language. Next, students will be able to express their creativity by making digital art for competitions with applications like "Procreate". Students will be able to screen cast the iPad to our smart TV to display presentations, artwork, etc. Lastly, students will be able to access digital books to study the culture of various Native American tribes. The sky is the limit on the accessibility Apple has to offer.
My students deserve to have the opportunities that will help them become successful in the classroom and in life that are not normally given to them. The need for an iPad Pro is very high for my students because they do not get access to technology this advanced.
