One thing that my students missed most during the pandemic was the hands-on portion of the culinary arts/nutrition pathway. Providing my students with sharp knives and sheet liners allow them to have ample time to complete our curriculum aligned baking unit and give my students the skills to use knives safely.
Contrary to popular belief, dull knives are more dangerous than sharp ones. Sharp knives use less force and are easier to clean and sanitize. Students will use the knives to learn knife skills that will carry with them for a lifetime!
