I have an amazing early childhood team and together we thought that our children really need an indoor gym (3K and pre-k). It would be a wonderful opportunity for them to build their fine and gross motor skills. Our little ones need a space where they can engage in gross motor activity while in the comfort of the school building. Although students go outside, there are times when the weather doesn't permit it. As early childhood educators, we know that increasing movement and physical activity do create healthy habits and have numerous benefits for children. It helps improve confidence, self-esteem, develops healthy social, cognitive, and emotional skills. It also helps in building strength, self-confidence, concentration, and coordination from an early age.
