Children need to experience things. They need to be able to try, fail, try again, and eventually succeed. I strongly believe in STEM as a great method for helping students not only study the standards and concepts, but really experience them. I believe in using their senses to help their brains successfully process the Science concepts I teach them everyday. I strongly believe that hands on activities encourage students to think outside of the proverbial box, coaxing them to experiment with and explore the problems, tools, and all the things they need in their learning adventure!

About my class
