I will use this sand/water table to instill a love of learning and exploring for my students. This will provide hands on learning opportunities for my kinesthetic students and engage even the most reluctant learners.
I will be using this table for language arts activities such as finding letters, sight words., etc. For math activities it will be used for activities such as finding numbers, match math facts, or simply exploring objects around them such as shells, pinecones, etc.
Having a sand table in my room would allow students to learn to work together, develop fine motor skills and increase their problem solving skills.
