My students learn in different ways because they are all neurodivergent. These materials will help them learn in new and exciting ways to meet both their academic and sensory needs. They will be able to engage with their peers in a new way that wasn't possible before. Covid has made it difficult for these students to learn in their own way. Distance learning makes learning hard and many of my students are behind in their academics. This project will help my students progress in school and meet their emotional, social, and mental well-being. The tactile letters will help my students write and recognize the alphabet. The nuts and bolts math manipulative will help my students count and set them up for success when they are learning addition and subtraction.
