The flexible seating will help students who have trouble staying in their seats an opportunity to wiggle while learning. Virtual learning caused by the soft-closure impacted fine motor skill development, social skills, and language development. Because learning at home looked differently for each student, individualized learning plans are imperative. Progress monitoring to develop ILPs and RtI groups occurs daily and having the tools to organize our materials will be very helpful. We will continue to build stamina and love of learning through games, activities, direct instruction in skill gaps, and Response to Intervention groups.
