Having a hydroponic gardening system in our classroom will help my students learn about how plants use air, water, and energy from sunlight to produce plant matter needed for growth a 5th grade Utah Science Standard.
They are a next-level generation of problem solvers. They come up with original, creative solutions for problems that are relevant to our world today. This one one of the reasons why teaching them Science is so exciting. Not to mention their enthusiasm as for what they can do to help save our planet.
