As you know, students around the globe (including mine) have been stuck indoors glued to their technology for the last couple of years. As educators, we have seen the direct effect of this disconnect from each other and the way of life we were used to, pre-covid. Our students have struggled in the classroom to reconnect and get back to learning that doesn't include screens. I know my students can thrive in the classroom when they have the means to connect. These outdoor games will help with community building, connection, and good old fashion playtime they have been missing out on with their friends over the past two years. We all know that getting outdoor exercise and connecting with their peers helps them be more successful learners in the classroom.
