I encourage my students to develop independence in their learning by providing them with open projects in my game development class. Consequently, I find that some student groups decide to create their own characters. The drawing tablets will aid these students to create better models instead of using the mouse. In addition, the ergonomic keyboards will be used with students who are experiencing hand fatigue. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic that pose many challenges in education, there is a need to motivate students to keep up and extend their learning. My hope is that the tools that I request may be used to aid in this vision.
