There are many challenges in the world right now. Many children are having to deal with the challenges of COVID, changes in society and family issues. Emotional turmoil and stresses in young children are on the rise. Allowing children to find enjoyment through creativity and stories gives children a chance to let go of their worries and stresses. Drawing can be very relaxing to the body and mind. Building can bring out problem solving skills. Stories can take the reader to far away places. I believe the books, art materials and building manipulatives will help my students work through their stresses, build their imaginations and strengthen their creativity.

About my class
