My 8th grade science class is all about energy. Students need to see how energy relates to physics, chemistry, ecosystems, natural resources, and natural hazards. Everything happens because of cycling of matter and the flow of energy in the universe around us. This equipment will help my students understand how energy works because it will give them opportunities to see real-life applications of the principles that they are learning in class.
Students learn best when they have hands-on experiences. YouTube videos are great and can take students to places they couldn't otherwise go. But having the hands-on experiences that this equipment will give them is even better.
