The more student connections are made, the better the students will learn. These STEM supplies will be used for hands-on lessons that connect our core standards to collaborative activities with our peers! We are a brand new school this year and supplies are low. STEM supplies, an easel, books, and counters will add the excitement our brand new school has been missing! The STEM sets will give students a chance to have more hands-on play during our lessons. We are limited in supplies, so having a few sets to choose from will help each student gain their own STEM experience! We'll use erasers as visual counters during our lessons. We've used sets in the past that completely captivate students during the lesson. We don't have any headphones for a class set. Each student must bring their own. However, not every student can afford them; they break during class, etc. We spend 3 separate parts of our day on the computer. Having extra headphones would help make sure everyone can do their own learning without getting distracted or distracting others from a lack of headphones. 1st graders have a hard time listening when they lack proximity. An easel would allow me to teach closer to them and have more engagement in my lessons. Dry erase sheet protectors, markers, and erasers would help me engage the students even more during that Tier 1 instruction with an easel in close proximity. My students would greatly benefit from having more STEM manipulatives, an easel and writing supplies, books to listen to, and headphones for working on their computers. They've already accomplished so much with limited supplies this year. We would be overly thrilled to receive this project and enhance our classroom community even more!
