This project allows my students to gain experience using their hands to build numerous items. By having these tools at hand, students will be able to step away from the screen and spend some time working toward service learning activities. Students will put these tools to use by building projects for the local district and conducting community service hours by assisting members of the neighborhood.
Using these new Milwaukee tools will brighten the day of many students in my classes. We will use them in addition with other materials to construct a box for locals to donate food and other items for the less fortunate to take when needed.
