When students are sick or quarantined, I can use my ipad and pencil to describe how to solve difficult math problems. We have tried using cameras on the whiteboard, but the glare is too bad that students at home can't see it. This way, students both in class and at home can see me real time explaining how to solve math problems.
I can also use technology to help students actually see how the concepts we are learning apply in real life scenarios. We can use the ipad in class to explore careers, real life patterns, and real world relationships.
