My students are so creative! I want them to experience as many different kinds of mediums as they can. We will be using a lot of math and science vocabulary to create new pieces of art. The students will be weighing the clay before we divide it up among the class. We will need to figure out how to divide evenly and measure the weights as we go. They will also weigh their pieces of art after they have dried and explain why the weight changed. We will also be using art to learn geometry and scale.
