Last year my students were not able to participate in some of our thermal energy transfer investigations like we have done in years past due to Covid restrictions. With enough materials, students can do their own individual investigations without the worry of spreading illness to each other.
Just one example, my students will be able to design and create a water bottle to keep their cold water cold as an individual student. They will be able to go through the whole investigation using their own materials without having to share them with the students around them. This will greatly lessen the anxiety that many of my students are experiencing at this time.
