These books are going to be used for what we call "Book Clubs". Book Clubs are important for many reasons. Book Clubs are something these student can be apart of in their adult life. Learning these skills that come along with working in a group, sets them up for success at a young age. Compromising and communicating is a skill that will be challenged during these books clubs. Groups need to come to an agreement on many different things. They also discuss questions and evaluate each others answer to see what is best.
While reading these books, different questions, and task will also be happening. Questions to improve students comprehension, understanding of characters actions, and pointing out important events that happen in a book. As a group, students will also develop and create a display to share their knowledge with their classmates.
