The gift of STEM will help me nurture that love and show them anyone can be a Scientist and Science Rules! We need more kids, women, and POC in STEM. I want them to continue to find passion in science for years to come by planting that seed and being able to offer hands on activities.
These activities could help inspire the next generation of scientists by opening their minds and worlds to hands on learning.
These materials will be used in a classroom setting.
Science has become their favorite subject and it has kept many kids who weren't previously engaged to sit, listen and explore. My hope is to do many different Science activities such as volcanoes, vinegar and eggs but larger experiments like these could be so determental in sparking a life long passion for science and STEM. Many of my students are low income and a gift like this would mean the world and would open the world for them.
