We want to provide an opportunity for our students who read below grade level to have access to grade level topics in accessible formats. With that goal in mind we want to create a space where students can check out graphic novel adaptations of popular grade level novels. Additionally we want to supply social studies related material to help reinforce their understanding of content.
This approach allows for equitable access to content and literature for all levels of readers. Additionally, students will have the ability to take ownership of their learning. Educators are, in return, able to meet them where they are at in their learning journey.
