I teach art at two schools and provide students with a time where they can be creative and explore new materials. This aids in their emotional wellbeing and promotes their academic learning. With the printmaking supplies, we will do many future projects.
This project will be focused on portraying Mt Olympus in a series, based on the work of Japanese Printmaker, Katsushika Hokusai. Painting supplies are the go-to medium for many of our projects and a classroom essential. Tempera cakes are a more expensive, but longer lasting form of paint instead of watercolor.
