I am a new teacher and am beginning to build my classroom resources. These resources provide basic skills essential to early learning. With these materials, students will be able to learn the alphabet using the letter tubs which include common words that begin with a specific letter. In preschool, we begin teaching students letter sounds and names which this resource will help them learn both of these skills.
The students will also be able to access essential math skills through sorting by color, shape, size, and numbers tasks. With the math manipulatives and games, students can reach their math goals which require them to begin to identify colors, shapes, and numbers. These materials will also help to promote social interactions by giving the students activities to complete with their peers and practice taking turns with certain activities. Several students have social-emotional IEP goals which included playing with peers, turn-taking and communicating wants and needs. All of these materials will help students make progress towards their individual goals in a variety of different ways.
