Hi all! I have asked for various things for my classroom. First, My kids need headsets for recording themselves and for hearing what they are working on. I have requested these headsets because many of my students are not able to afford their own. It will improve their learning so much, as they will be better able to concentrate. Second, I have asked for some supplies that we use in the classroom daily--pencils, whiteboards, whiteboard markers, a pencil sharpener, math war cards, etc. We always are in need of supplies. Many of my student's families cannot afford these items--I end up buying them for them. Third, My students earn art classes with me each week after all their hard work. I have purchased all the supplies myself for these projects. We mostly do paintings with various mediums. My kids learn about artists, are able to be creative, and use math and science skills in their art. My kids love working toward art each week. The art is rewarding and relaxing for them. Finally, I have asked for cushions for their chairs. The chairs get really uncomfortable to sit in, and I would like to provide my students with a more comfortable experience at school.
