I am a Special Education Resource teacher. I am looking to provide my students with a Calming Corner. I have many students who struggle to calm their minds and bodies enough to focus and learn. When students use this corner they will have different activities available to reach students with many different needs. I would like to fill this calming corner with books and toys that build their confidence and calm their minds. A comfortable chair will be a key component, so it doesn't feel like they are punished by sitting in the corner.
