COVID-19 impacted students with special needs in a big way. I now have to reteach communication skills that have been lost or damaged. My students were not familiar enough with online tools, so they could not communicate with peers and teachers effectively during online learning. I can use the iPad and pencils to teach my students how to express themselves. They can use specialized apps to express their wants, needs, and interests. The pencil will make it easy and enticing to use the iPad effectively. The speaker will help give them a voice!

About my class
