As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, kids have become unsure of their future as well as themselves. Socially and emotionally, that's where the games, motivational incentives, and interesting reading material come in. Creating a friendly, open environment is just as important as what they learn that day. If they don't feel comfortable, they are less likely to want to learn or interact with one another. Having them feel like they are appreciated and their efforts rewarded can also build their confidence. Students often come to school hungry - hungry for knowledge, hungry for acceptance, hungry for, well, food. I want to make sure that I'm doing my best to make sure that all of these needs are met. There are quite a few snacks for them to choose from and should make it easier for them to focus and not worry about when they're going to eat next. Lastly, how can they gain new knowledge if they don't have the right materials? The pencils, binders, art materials, and calming light covers provide the necessary items to make sure they are ready to absorb, retain, and create life long learning habits and use their newfound mastery to help them along their journey.
