I work with Exceptional Children in an inclusion setting at the high school level. Sometimes in the classroom, ideal environments are not met for individual needs. My students are unique in their own ways and, with that, they also learn differently and thrive in various environments. Some prefer a more structured setting and a desk on which to work. Others prefer a relaxing, calm, inviting setting. While my students may learn in their own unique way, they are amazing and deserve the comforts of home in what may be the warmest and most supportive setting they find themselves in each day. They spend 8 hours a day in a school environment and it would mean the world to me to be able to provide them a cozy spot to relax while working.
