Over Covid, we realized we needed to work on making our content digital. So much of our budget has gone to help us make that possible. One thing that suffered was that when it came time to get a new projector (ours is hardly visible right now) there weren't funds to make that possible. I've worked super hard to make fun and interactive lessons using our SMARTboard, but what good is that when the students can't see my amazing interactive lessons? I signed up to get a new projector in September, but they've been on backorder. Every day things are getting dimmer and dimmer. (Is that a song? or a foreshadowing of things to come? I really hope not.) A new projector will help students see the lesson instruction/presentations, practice problems, and notes better on the Smartboard. In our co-taught class, our lessons are completely on the Smartboard and we use it daily for instruction. They are amazing lessons and very interactive. It is important for our students, especially those who struggle, to be able to see the board clearly.
