I teach Spanish Dual Immersion. Our school had to go to distant learning for a week, and I received many requests from parents who are concerned about helping their children still practice Spanish in their homes. I do not have sufficient books in the classroom, but it would have been a great resource to have leveled readers that the students can take home to continue practicing their reading, and working towards fluency.
My students LOVE to read in both languages; however, the more exposures I offer them to read Spanish, the more fluent and proficient they will become in this target language.
