We are an inner city school in Ohio. Our school is in one of the lowest income areas of our city. Our school is at one of the highest poverty in the state at 98%. Our entire building is on the free lunch program offered. My first grade classroom is made of 100% African American students. Over 60% of my students come from a one parent home or living with a relative. They are excited about learning through the number of different learning centers we use weekly. This project will allow them to listen to a number of different genres.
