All of my students want the opportunity to learn and become better readers. These students are Special Needs students who struggle with comprehension, vocabulary, and the desire to read. Given the opportunity to listen to auditory books will invoke an interest in reading and help prepare my students to become lifelong readers. This reading program will allow me to differentiate my Resource Language Arts class, while some students are listening to audiobooks, I will be able to work one on one with other students in the classroom. Students will gain listening, and comprehension skills.
