This project is two-fold: the books ordered in groups of ten will provide students with high-interest reading materials for book clubs during our holocaust unit, while the class set of "The Bomb" will provide high-interest grammar instruction. While studying Anne Frank as a class, students will engage with their own literature circle books, incorporating reading strategies and sharing their findings in small groups. Students will meet in their reading groups weekly to share their findings. Sentence combining and grammar study will be the focus of a language arts unit using "The Bomb." This book has been proven to grab students' interest and get them thinking about and writing great sentences!

About my class
